Since this is my first serious blog, I suppose I better introduce myself!
My name is Tilly. Actually, it's not, it's a nickname but that's all you're getting from me for now. I'm a 28 year old British wrestling fan who has been watching WWE (occasionally TNA, but not so much in recent years) since I was 15 years old. I will admit I wavered away from watching it on a regular basis between 2003-2007 due to being away at university, but I still followed it via Internet.

I can't explain why I love wrestling, I just do. When I first started watching, didn't appreciate the effort that goes into making a storyline believable or putting a match together. Now that I'm older, I not only appreciate it, but I also can look at situations objectively and, at least, try and see why things are the way they are.

Survivor Series is one of the WWE's big 4 PPV's. As I'm British, I would have had to spend £15 (admittedly, not a huge amount) and stay up until 4am to watch it. Unless I'm really into the planned card, it's very rare I stay up. And judging by the comments I've heard, I did the right thing by going to bed.

I did, however, watch Monday Night Raw and was left feeling incredibly underwhelmed by it, as I have done by most Raw's and PPV's since Summer Slam.

It would be very easy for me to come here and say that it's shit that some of my favourite wrestlers are being under used whilst people like John Cena get to return from injury and go straight into a World Heavyweight Championship match, which he then wins.

I'm not a huge Cena fan, but I far from hate him. It's the same with Randy Orton. Many have given him the moniker "Blandy Borton" and believe that Daniel Bryan should be Champion.

Maybe he should but the point is that, as a viewer, I want to be entertained and BOTH main title story lines have been chronically BORING!! To the point that last night, I switched off Raw after the Punk/Bryan beat down.

I've been unhappy with Alberto Del Rio as World Heavyweight Champion for some time now. Del Rio is a tremendous in ring performer but his character is so stale, I'm surprised it's not growing mold. Even when he was a face, his character didn't differentiate much from his heel persona. When Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money In The Bank contact, the WWE universe rejoiced because in Ziggler, we saw a young yet experienced talent who was going to inject some much needed vitality into a flagging championship belt. That pretty much went south when Jack Swagger gave Ziggler a concussion that put him out of action for 5 weeks. Shortly after that, he'd go on to drop the belt back to Del Rio who would defend against Ziggler, Christian and Rob Van Dam before John Cena would, predictably, return to take the belt from him. WWE really dropped the ball with Ziggler in my opinion. I felt they should have given him a little longer to prove his worth before taking the title off him so soon. It really did sting for me. The problem with the Del Rio/Cena angle is Cena is such a polarizing figure, that there's no-one for the Cena haters to get behind. Del Rio is too bland for them to give a crap about and they hate Cena.
Because fans weren't given the ending they craved with the Orton/Bryan angle, when Bryan was written out of the story line and Big Show was written in, it was a massive anti climax. Big Show at least has a personality, but due to his size, is limited as to what he can do in the ring. It's because of this that, I feel, he struggles to mesh well with someone who is as aggressive and athletically dominant as Orton. It's not so much that Orton and Cena are bad Champions, it's the choice of competitors that is bringing the product down.

If I had my choice, then the WWE/WHC Title picture would include Punk, Bryan, Ziggler, Orton and Cena. How it would work, I don't know, but I do know it won't be this bad forever!
